Opposites
Making the titans evil is one thing, but making Cyborg a stalker is outrageous!
Series: Teen Titans Go!
Part of Season: 1
Episode Number: 41
Air Date: February 19, 2014
Previous episode: "Be Mine"
Next episode: "Birds"

"Opposites" is the forty-first episode of the first season of Teen Titans Go!, and the forty-first overall episode of the series.

Why It's Not Opposite Day

  1. The idea of Cyborg having to fall in love with Jinx might look good on paper, but the premise of it is executed very horribly.
  2. Jinx throwing a tantrum about the breakup is very immature, yes it's normal to act emotional during a break up, but that doesn't excuse it.
  3. Cyborg is unlikable in this episode, and we mean very unlikable! He even goes as far to go full stalker mode on her which is borderline creepy! Not even Peter Griffin from modern Family Guy wouldn't go this far!
  4. There are also some questionable plotholes in the episode.
    1. How did Cyborg suddenly get access to all of his pictures of Jinx? If he did this in real life, depending on the picture, he would be arrested.
    2. And how does kissing someone make you explode? It is true some people reacted differently on their first kiss, but not like that.
  5. Also, the writing is hilariously bad and is also horribly done too, if barely, it looks like the writers simply gave up at their jobs during production.
  6. Bad Title: Opposites, while the episode is about exactly that, it feels more like an episode centered around love for most of it.
  7. It had a very horribly executed moral, Meaning that stalking people is a good thing, when it isn't. It's illegal and will get you arrested. We're not kidding!
  8. Cyborg is also a massive Karma Houdini as he never got any comeuppance for his behavior in this episode.

The Only Opposite Qualities

  1. Raven did have a valid point about Cyborg taking down Jinx.
  2. Gizmo and Robin are a bit more tolerable in this episode.
