Plot

Eric and Trevor test out the new Maxum Mobile, but things get worse after Eric turns the engine into evil mode. They also lost their memories after trying out the new Maxum Mobile.

Why It's Filled with Pains and Sprains

  1. This is an Eric and Trevor torture episode, as well as the whole episode being entirely mean-spirited.
  2. The episode starts with Eric demanding Maxum Man to use the new Maxum Mobile by saying "Please", alongside the ear-piercing "Please", which causes Maxum Brain's monitor glass to shatter in pieces.
  3. The flashback scene where Eric trying other vehicles and eating beans can be a bit disturbing and there is no reason to explode when he is driving and eating.
  4. Everyone in Splittsboro is extremely unlikable when they realize that Eric breaks into Megamatraz prison, destroys Swell Burger, and mutates Vana into a monster.
  5. Eric himself does not realize that he is the one who destroys Splittsboro, due to his memory loss.
  6. The scene where Trevor urinates in Vana's room is disgusting to watch, even when it splashes all over Kitty's hazmat suit while she is running and screaming.
    • It’s questionable how the uncensored urine was allowed to be shown on live TV.
    • This is also pretty low for Disney's standards as Disney is about being “family-friendly”. That is not family-friendly.
  7. Plot Holes:
    • Maxum Brain goes to his bedroom after Eric tells him not to drive the new Maxum Mobile, but he shatters his computer and dies. But in the later scene, how does he resurrect?
    • Trevor drinking the acid in the tube, where Vana is trapped inside because she was mutated, can lead to getting burned by it in real life.
    • The PA in Swell Burger said that Eric ordered 2 Swelly Combos, 2 Fried Cheesy Rings, and an extra order of Greasy-dillas, which was a lot of orders than the one he said.
    • When Trevor activates the new Maxum Mobile into evil mode, he says that he will pummel Eric using the weapons from it, and as a result, he not only kills Eric in the process but also kills citizens of Splittsboro or destroys Splittsboro, resulting in getting arrested or expelled in the Sidekick Academy.
  8. When Maxum Brain tells Eric not to use the new Maxum Mobile, the latter does not listen to what the former is saying, which makes the latter a hypocrite.
  9. The Computerized Robotic Uber Interactive Software Engine, or for short, C.R.U.I.S.E, was an unlikable antagonist for destroying Splittsboro, which explained why the citizens were mad at Eric and Trevor for destroying it.
  10. Bad and gruesome ending: After Eric stops CRUISE by switching it into normal Maxum Mobile mode, everyone cheers, but Maxum Brain says that he caused the whole mess in Splittsboro, resulting in getting mad at Eric, but he stopped when Trevor uses the Maxum Mobile to kill Eric and the citizens in Splittsboro. In the real world, this action of Trevor's could get him suspended from Sidekick Academy and give him a one-way ticket to juvie, or worse, he could get arrested.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. Eric is the only likable character in this episode.
  2. Good moral: You should always read instructions carefully before using vehicles or anything in general.
  3. The flashback scenes about how CRUISE destroys Splittsboro and mutated Vana are interesting.

Trivia

  • Maxum Man's hand is seen when the new Maxum Mobile poops candy. The arm also actually appears to take some candy.
  • The writer of this episode, Miklos Perlus, also voices Eric.
