Pizza Dude is an action game developed by Team6 Game Studios and published by Frogster Interactive for Microsoft Windows on June 10, 2005. The game re-utilizes Team6's engine for Manhattan Chase. Most assets were later reused in Motorbike Challenge by Team6, such as the map and the driving system. The game is the second most recognizable and also the most infamous game right after FlatOut 3: Chaos & Destruction.
Plot
The pizzeria owner ran away and went out of business due to debt and entrusted the mission to one of his nephews to continue his career for him, that's the whole story.
Gameplay
The gameplay is as simple as building a flail, you make a pizza, sit in the vehicle and drive it to the customer and come back, you do the whole thing over and over again.
Why It Makes You Not Want to Order Pizza
- The menu is literally the same as in other Team6 games, the absolute only thing that has been changed in relation to other games from this studio is the background and nothing else clearly showing the low budget that went into this production.
- Terrible graphics for a 2005 game that resembles a game released in 1996, the textures are really low resolution and the models are quite lazy and even angular at times. Even Need for Speed 2 has nicer graphics than this, but the worst part is the faces that look like they've been heavily elongated or run over with a roller.
- The intro does not explain the plot at all, but only the interior of our pizzeria. To know the plot, you have to look inside the box, and the plot itself is also very simple.
- In some computers, the game is unreliable and crashes constantly. If you fail to deliver a pizza on time the game crashes after the screen turns white.
- The car can push you forward indefinitely as long as you're in front of the car, and you don't die or get knocked off when a car pushes you literally as if the developers didn't care what the player does and forgot to refine even the most basic things.
- Awful vehicle handling as vehicles either turn very slowly or oversteer causing the player to hit walls a lot and on top of that if you fall you can't get up normally though you can fortunately reset the position of the vehicle but you should still be able to get back up normally.
- The city is empty and lifeless. There are no actual models of people to be found anywhere in the city except you, a basketball player in an alley, a man inside an apartment, and a priest in a church, which is almost like London Cab Challenge.
- The city has also been reused in Motorbike Challenge, which was released a year later.
- The gameplay is painfully repetitive, you just make the pizza, get in the vehicle and deliver the pizza to its destination, then go back to your pizzeria, and so on and so on until the end of the game.
- Somehow you can't climb small slopes in the first gear, but you can while going in reverse which in total is a lack of logic and a great shortcoming and you can get the impression that the game was untested.
- The character animations are really terrible. It is especially visible when you fall, jump, and run because they consist of just a few frames of animation just like Bubsy 3D which was released almost 10 years earlier.
- If you go to a high enough place and you repeatedly press the jump button, you can't fall because of the invisible ceiling that was added for some unknown reason and that the player is able to jump over, so that he is able to levitate over the city and the game becomes absolutely unplayable.
- You can randomly find a piece of a wall that you can always crash into, even though it's invisible from one side normally almost like Big Rigs except you can't walk through buildings, collision detection is really bad and you get the impression that the developers don't care if the player will be able to walk through walls or not.
- The city is filled to the brim with advertisements for other Team6 games, such as Taxi Racer New York 2 or Manhattan Chase and clearly shows the selfishness of the developers and the attempt to force the purchase of other games from Team 6, no other company does.
- A lot of bugs glitches, for example you can often go beyond the map, especially if you fall into the river and in the garden of one of the residences and there are so many bugs and shortcomings that you can get the impression that the game was made in a hurry.
- The box textures are stolen from Half-life and this is already a violation of copyright and at the same time a great laziness because instead of creating your own, you are stealing from someone else.
- The game is so short that you can even finish it in 3 minutes, in the "videos" section there is a speedrun to prove it.
Redeeming Qualities
- At least the interface is well done and all the information is given on a plate so the player won't have to think about anything.
- An unnatural face length can be extremely hilarious.

Reception
The game was universally panned by European critics. Pizza Dude received awards for 2nd place in the worst game of the year by 4Players for 2006 and the worst game of 2006 by PC Powerplay (Germany). The Russian website, Absolute Games (ag.ru) rated the game 1/100, summarizing "But it’s better not to suffer, press Alt + F4 and throw Pizza Dude to where the rotten pizza usually flies". It is one of the most recognizable and hated games from Team 6 Game Studios next to FlatOut 3: Chaos & Destrustion.
