Pokémon Café ReMix (Formerly Pokémon Café Mix) is a puzzle game that was released on mobile and Nintendo Switch on June 23, 2020.

The game used to be good during it's earlier years, until in 2023 it would go to a downfall.

Why the Café's Service is Terrible Now

1. The grind-fest events have cranked up to a 11 due to the newer events being mostly "Slow Cooking" events, many of which require a lot of points (over 100 million or more) and the large amount of energy crystals required to finish up the event.
2. Speaking of the "Slow Cooking" events, most of them are very impossible to complete because of the huge point requirements and you would need hundreds of energy crystals to complete.
3. For some reason, the game now requires an online connection to be played, despite the fact it plays like a single player game and older versions of the game when it first launched allowed the player to play the game while offline.
4. Most of the events are mostly repeats of each other, some of them giving players Pokémon that they already recruited to the Café instead of giving them something new.
   • On the game's 4th anniversary, the events for it are actually repeats, giving Mewtwo, Dialga, Palkia, and Ho-Oh which were likely already recruited by many players before this event, which just makes the events pointless.
5. The microtransactions are also starting to paywall Pokémon from previous events under a card system. Additionally the newer Pokémon are always paywalled in the premium card subscription.
6. The delivery system has been made to be based on pure luck, meaning you will mostly get junk rather than the Pokémon you need to recruit. And even if you have the 11x instant delivery card, you have to be insanely lucky to obtain it.
7. When the game rebranded to Pokémon Café ReMix, all of your progress from the original game is gone!
8. Menu development has been stuck in development hell for over 3 years until they finally added one in late December 2023.
9. Most Pokémon with special skills are lazy since mid-2022, where they wink and smile instead of working in the café.
10. Sadly, this would be when the game suffered a huge downfall because the developers are now treating F2P players terribly due to the Slow Cooking events and various unfair changes to the game.

Redeeming Qualities

1. The graphics are still good.
2. The music sounds pretty amazing.
3. The "1 Minute Cooking" events are still very easy to complete, until in 2024 where these events were also ruined.
