Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Team Go-Getters Out of the Gate is a Pokémon TV special based off the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game Red and Blue Rescue Team. The episode aired first in the United States on Cartoon Network on September 8th, 2006 a month before it's official Japanese release.

Why It Rocks

  1. Amazing animation, It has expressive moments from the characters, and well-done backgrounds and scenery, and even one moment that Gengar is actually frowning, which can be seen in the gallery below.
  2. It has remastered music tracks from the game, which are very good.
  3. The voice acting is very good.
  4. The plot is just like the game. However, the mission is actually different.
  5. The Team Meanies are just like in the game, however, they get healed by Team Go-Getters with their last Oran Berry split up to 3 pieces, Gengar however didn't want the Oran Berry and told Team Go-Getters that they need the Oran Berry, but Squirtle said "We can't leave a Injured Brother", and then Gengar accepts the Oran Berry.
  6. During the release of Super Mystery Dungeon, this episode including the "Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers Of Time", and "Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Explorers Of Sky" TV episodes that were aired on Cartoon Network, and became free to watch on YouTube.
    • Best yet, some Pokémon fans would want the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series to be its own spin-off series separate from the main anime because of why the anime adaptations for Pokémon Mystery Dungeon being a really amazing idea.
  7. The concept of Pokémon talking with human voices instead of saying their names is really clever, and it successfully works.

Bad Qualities

  1. Errors such as when Gengar mistakes Ekans as Arbok can sometimes confuse viewers.
