Puffin Rock is an Irish animated television series produced by Cartoon Saloon, Dog Ears, and Penguin Random House.

Summary

Based on Puffin Island, the series follows a young puffin named Oona and her little brother Baba as they explore the world.

Why It Rocks

1. Beautiful animation, especially for 2015 standards.
2. Great narration from Chris O’Dowd.
   1. We like to give it a fact that the narrating is better than Peppa Pig's
   2. Speaking of narration, the narration is very insightful and educational, unlike other edutainment shows.
3. The show has a nice calm and relaxing tone.
4. Oona is a cute and likable main character.
5. Beautiful theme song with great vocals from Kate McCafferty.
6. Amazing educational value.
7. It’s the first animated series on television about Puffin Birds.
8. Stays faithful to the real Puffin Island, and faithful to Ireland itself.
9. Great voice acting from the talented cast of voice actors.
10. The film adaption, Puffin Rock and the New Friends, is great, and was a good way to continue the show.
11. It is considered one of, if not the best Irish cartoons.

The Only Bad Quality

1. Oona is overprotective of Baba in the first episode.

Puffin Rock received lots of praise from fans for its great animation and educational value. PhantomStrider ranked it #1 on Best Irish Cartoons.
