"Rubber Hose Feud" is an animated parody video by YouTuber Antoons. It was uploaded to YouTube on December 19, 2019.

Why It's A Rubber Hose Failure

1. To get the elephant out of the room, the biggest problem with the video is Mickey Mouse's portrayal in it, where he's portrayed as an incredibly unlikable and greedy jerk similar to his South Park portrayal, except without the little charm the later had, in fact, this is one of the many unfunny "Evil Mickey" parodies that have been a common joke for a long time due to Disney's infamous actions, which can be unfair to Mickey Mouse fans since he obviously is not responsible for the company's decisions as he's just a fictional character.
2. On the topic of Mickey being evil, there's an scene where Mickey dresses up as a Nazi soldier and even starts a Nazi army (with the Swastika being replaced by a silhoutte of his face), which can be pretty offensive to people who like Mickey as well as Holocaust victims and survivors, there's also the possibility Antoons made that scene due to his false belief of Disney supporting Nazism, which is extremely false as Disney was an American studio and even made some anti-Nazi propaganda (with the Donald Duck cartoon Der Fuehrer's Face being the most notable example).
3. The animation is extremely horrible and has a lot of errors, for example, the character's movements are very jerky.
4. Incredibly mean-spirited scenes, like some scenes involving Mickey attacking other cartoon characters like Felix the Cat or Bendy from Bendy and the Ink Machine being tied to a railroad track in order to get killed.
5. Sonic the Hedgehog is mentioned in the video even though he is a video game character, not a cartoon one (though the same can apply to Cuphead, Mugman and Peacock from Skullgirls, the later of which is mentioned by Minnie at the end of the video, however, the three characters are actually meant to be similar to old cartoon characters so their appearences/mentions makes more sense than Sonic's).
6. Terrible voice acting.
7. Very unfunny attempts at humor.

The Only Redeeming Quality

1. At least the video does have some scenes where the history of animation is explained, which can be a bit educational but it is overshadowed by the unfunny humor and Mickey's portrayal.

Trivia

• The video was made to conmemorate Felix the Cat's 100th birthday.
• Cuphead appears in the video but as a mute character, the reason on why he does not have any lines in the video is because Antoons wasn't aware of him actually having lines until he finished playing the game.
