Schoolhouse Rock! is an American interstitial programming series of animated musical educational short films (and later, videos) that aired during the Saturday morning children's programming block on the U.S. television network ABC. The topics covered included grammar, science, economics, history, mathematics, and civics. The series' original run lasted from 1973 to 1984; it was later revived with both old and new episodes airing from 1993 to 1996. Additional episodes were produced in 2009 for direct-to-video release.

Why It Rocks

1. It helps teach kids with several educational subjects such as grammar, mathematics, science, economics, American history, and conservation.
2. Great singing by singers such as the late Jack Sheldon.
3. Good animation for its time.
4. Great music.
5. Several catchy songs that are still popular to this day such as I’m Just a Bill, Conjunction Junction, Three is a Magic Number, Electricity, Interplanet Janet, A Noun is a Person, Place, or Thing, and several others.
6. Some songs feature some well-known singers of the time such as the Tokens on A Victim of Gravity.

Bad Qualities

1. While the animation was good, it can be limited at times and there were visible animation errors on many songs.
2. The song Electricity, despite being amazingly catchy, could cause seizures.
