Serious Business is the 18th episode of the 2nd season of Teen Titans Go!.

Synopsis

The team learns what a bathroom is really for the hard way.

Why It's Anything But Serious

1. This episode IS VERY DISGUSTING BECAUSE THE PLOT IS CENTERED AROUND THE BATHROOM OF ALL PLACES.
2. Misleading title: There is no "seriousness" in this episode, just the Titans getting emotional over the bathroom.
3. The Titans do things in the bathroom they can do virtually anywhere else, which makes no sense:
   • Raven tap dances in it.
   • Cyborg sings.
   • Beast Boy makes art.
   • Starfire uses it, to make chili in the toilet. (Really) This is not only disgusting but unsanitary.
4. The Peepee Dance is very immature and annoying.
5. Robin’s “solution” to cut the Titans’ bathroom time (by using a bomb that is set for 5 minutes that is strapped to the bathroom door) is a bad solution because while this makes sense for urinating and brushing teeth, it does not make for other things done in the bathroom. What if they have to take a shower or have diarrhea or are constipated or vomiting? 5 minutes won’t cover this at all!
6. Also, Robin blowing up the bathroom to cut bathroom time too? Isn’t that too extreme? He’s injuring his teammates.
7. The Titans when they neglect hygiene due to being afraid of the bomb is too disgusting to look at.
8. The scene where Starfire gets bad breath (assuredly implying she didn't brush her teeth), was gross.
9. The Titans eventually show Robin “the wonders of the bathroom.” Which is very ridiculous!
10. Over-usage of toilet humor, given the fact the episode is centered around the bathroom and nothing else.
11. Weird ending: The bathrooms suddenly comes to life and are revealed to be aliens and the Titans “abused” their bathroom. This makes their bathroom rage quit and leave Earth with the rest of his species and the Titans do the peepee dance on the rubble that was their bathroom.

Redeeming Qualities

1. Beast Boy’s steam art is pretty good.
2. Although ridiculous, the Titans’ bathroom has very fun voice to listen to.
3. While hypocritical "The Wonders of Bathroom" and the "PeePee Dance" songs can be found quite catchy.
4. Robin, while still unlikable, did have a point about the other titans hogging the bathroom all to themselves.

Trivia

• The Pee-Pee Dance became a meme among both the network and the target audience, with said song receiving over 17 million views on YouTube and even getting its own promo. It even got to the point where reruns of the episode got higher ratings than its premiere.
