Sleuth or Consequences is an episode from the first season of The Loud House.

Plot

When the toilet is clogged and Lincoln is blamed, he must figure out the culprit before the Ace Savvy convention begins.

Bad Qualities

  1. This episode is an 11-minute mean-spirited Lincoln torture episode where he is treated unfairly as he is framed for clogging the toilet which he didn't do.
  2. This episode also consists of toilet humor.
  3. Lincoln's sisters (except Lucy and Lily) are unlikable in this episode as they make fun of him for his love of Ace Savvy.
  4. Lynn Sr. is also unlikable as he punishes everybody when the toilet is clogged.
  5. Plot Hole: Lisa says that she hasn't used the toilet in years, indicating that she started using Lily's training potty. However, Lily was only one year old at the time of the episode. Did she pee on the floor?
  6. What makes the Loud Sisters even more unlikable is that it is revealed that they vow to make fun of the person who read Princess Pony, which is the reason why Lucy couldn't tell her sisters.
  7. While Lincoln’s intentions for taking the heat for Lucy for clogging the toilet were kind and well intended, it ends up teaching a bad lesson to kids, which is taking the fall for something bad another person did is good and selfless.
  8. Speaking of them, Lincoln's sisters never got their comeuppance for what they did.
  9. Half-Bad Ending: Lincoln takes the blame for clogging the toilet and ended up getting grounded.

Good Qualities

  1. Lincoln, Clyde, Lucy and Lily are the only likable characters.
  2. Lucy revealing her love of princess Pony and the reason why is shown that there is more to goths than what meets the eye, which can be seen as pretty hilarious.
    • ♫ One-Eyed Jack, One-Eyed Jack. Villains better watch their back. ♫
  3. The first few minutes were good, at least that's until Lynn Sr. asks who clogged the toilet.
  4. Half-Good Ending: Lucy did feel bad for Lincoln getting grounded and made a comic for him.
