Smile HD is an animated video that is uploaded on YouTube and Newgrounds in 2013, that's a parody and based on the show My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, and using a remixed version of Pinkie's song "Smile". It starts with Pinkie running through a field towards her friends Applejack, Twilight Sparkle and Rarity, who are relaxing under a tree on a checkered blanket. Twilight sees her and gives a friendly wave, unaware that she is about to die...

Why It Won't Give You A Smile

1. First off, the video is a frightening, violent, and nightmarish scene of Pinkie Pie killing the rest of the Mane Six.
   • Not to mention, Pinkie Pie is entirely OOC (Out of Character) because she kills her friends for no reason at all! Plus, it is a parody, but this isn't how Pinkie should be portrayed in the first place!
   • Pinkie Pie kicks Twilight Sparkle's head off.
   • Next, she jumps and punches on Rarity's head and causes her brain to spew out.
   • She then knocks Applejack against a tree and punches her until Rainbow Dash comes and kicks her. After Pinkie gains conscious and gets powers, she beams Applejack, thus incinerating her.
   • She then kicks Rainbow Dash up to the sky and to the ground and leaps on her, causing Rainbow Dash to throw up her organs.
   • Lastly, she charges an energy beam and DESTROYS the entire planet, killing herself, Fluttershy, and the rest of the entire cast of My Little Pony.
2. Watching a bunch of friendly characters with endless kindness and decency that we all love being murdered is just absolutely unfunny and beyond heartbreaking since the entire My Little Pony franchise is wholesome and harmless with important life lessons, not violence and cruelty.
   • It probably counts as animal abuse since Pinkie Pie and her friends are horses/ponies/equines.
3. As Pinkie Pie is punching Applejack to death, there are tears that form in Applejack's eyes with blood dripping out of her mouth while Pinkie watches with an unchanging smile on her face, which just makes it sad and depressing.
4. Like WIWGYAS #2 above, A parody based on a show that is about love and compassion being twisted into a gory, deranged, and murderous video is just offensive and wrong. There are good MLP parodies out there, but this isn't one of them.
5. The excessive amounts of blood and gore make this an obvious fetish video. It was so gruesome that it was age-restricted.
6. The smile Pinkie Pie has in this parody is just unsettling and mentally deranged, this isn't the Pinkie Pie we all know and love.
7. The animation is so perfect, that it looks even more real and like an episode of the show - which, in this case, is not a good thing due to the dark concept.
8. When Rarity dies, Applejack actually smiles at her corpse.
9. Misleading Thumbnail: As said before, it shows the Mane Six smiling and hanging out together. But it never happened in the video as it has the said dark concept.
   • Similar to what WIWGYAS #6 says, it could fool mainly MLP fans and a younger audience into something horrific that would scare/insult/upset them.
10. The video itself suffers from a huge déjà vu of the Fatalities from the Mortal Kombat games.

Redeeming Qualities

1. The remixed cover of "Smile" is at least decent, if not unfitting.
2. The animation is really good since it looks like the show, despite what WIWGYAS #7 says overall.
3. The fight scene with Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie is satisfying until Pinkie fights back with the song's lyrics (since Pinkie Pie breaks the fourth wall).
4. The first 45 seconds of the video (except for the warning sign) seems innocent.

Reception

The video itself was heavily panned by viewers and fans alike, While it received likes and positive comments, those were mostly sarcastic, it also made a lot of people do reaction videos on it, which are funny and better than the video.
