SolarBalls is a British animated edutainment series created by Alvaro Calmet, being a spinoff of CountryBalls. It revolves around the interactions of anthropomorphic personifications of celestial bodies in the Solar System.

Premise

A man nicknamed AstroDude gets a job from NASA to fly into outer space and do various tasks around the Solar System, only to learn that the celetial bodies have the ability to talk and interact with each other.

Why it's Out of This World!

1. Various likeable and memorable characters such as AstroDude, The Sun, Venus, Earth, Jupiter, Ganymede, Europa, Saturn, Titan, Uranus, Neptune, Triton, and Planet X.
2. It combines storytelling with educational facts that can make learning about the Solar System so much fun!
3. Surprisingly good lore for a web series that can make viewers feel sympathy for the characters, like how the moons feel about orbiting their planets. The show gets much more serious as it goes on, starting from sillier situations to rather serious topics such as banishment and trust.
4. Thanks to their Patreon being successful, very good story arcs have been produced such as:

      1. The LEGO video was also very well done!

6. The show has it's emotional moments too, such as the reveal of what happened to Planet X.

Supernova Qualities

1. The characters can be very mean-spirited at times, like how Europa and Ganymede were banished from the Solar System. The Sun can be unlikeable as well, but it's explained why he's like this.
2. The interruptions for promoting their trading card game and other sponsors can be annoying.
