"Sooper Poof", is the fourteenth episode of the sixth season of The Fairly OddParents!

Plot

While Poof is practicing how to shapeshift, he is discovered by Mr. and Mrs. Turner who believe that he is an alien super baby that they need to raise to fight for justice and truth! Now Timmy Turner must find a way to get Poof back before his real identity is discovered, and Cosmo and Wanda cannot just wish Poof away because Timmy's parents have been attracted to him and he is too irresistible for them to forget!

Why It's Not Sooper

  1. It is an 11-minute long Timmy Turner torture episode as he is neglected by his parents and even gets blamed for trying to harm Poof.
    • Timmy's parents are even more neglectful towards their only child, Timmy, than usual and only care about Poof. Worse, they start blaming Timmy for trying to harm Poof by putting him in a fish tank or even trying to get Poof sliced by a meat cutter.
  2. Timmy's parents even admit at one point to dropping Timmy on his head as baby, which can endanger a child and cause brain damage.
  3. The episode gives off an impression that it will be about Poof being a super hero, but that is only for a few moments at a time.
  4. Annoying and unfunny running gags like an animal hunter hunting Cosmo in animal form, and Timmy's parents blaming their son.
  5. It is also a major continuity error as Poof is a fairy, so even though Timmy's parents mistake him for an alien baby, Poof, Cosmo, and Wanda would still have to go away forever because Poof is technically revealing his existence in front of adult humans.
  6. Bad ending where Timmy's parents dress him up in a beaver outfit, and the same animal hunter mistakes Timmy as a beaver and tranquilizes him, and his parents spot Timmy, only for them to think that he is sleeping. This is just showing the viewer how much the Laurie Israel and Rachael Ruderman like to dumb down Timmy's parents.
  7. As usual, Timmy's parents never get any comeuppance for their actions towards their son.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. Timmy and Mark Chang is still a likable characters.
  2. Mark Chang does help Timmy get Poof back to Cosmo and Wanda in the end.
  3. Aaron Hammersley, the storyboarder, takes good over-the top takes, when Timmy's parents saw Sooper Poof.
