Stall Monitor is the 22nd episode of the fourth season of The Loud House.
Plot
Worried that his teacher has bad things to say about him, Lincoln tries to delay his parent-teacher conference.
Bad Qualities
- Lincoln gets so worried about his parent-teacher conference that he goes as far as having his friends help delay it, all because he feels that he'll get in trouble out of nowhere.
- Extremely predictable plot that feels so forced. Even the jokes in this episode feel forced too.
- Lincoln's friends actually go along with his plan, not even thinking that what he's going through is so overdramatic. They could've snapped him out of it.
- Plot Hole: How can Carol Anne give birth just from eating something spicy?
- There's no foreshadowing or build-up to what Lincoln's teacher is going to say to him during the conference.
- Rusty dresses up as Mrs. Johnson in this episode but everyone (even Lincoln's parents) believes that it's Mrs. Johnson.
- It turns out, in the end, Lincoln is all worried for nothing and his teacher has really good things to say about him, and he goes through all this trouble just to get a week of detention and a week of being grounded.
- Girl Jordan appears in her original look in this episode, it’s not a bad design but it's seems very confusing. It is like the animators don't care about Girl Jordan No More.
- This whole episode feels like a first draft, no care went into it at all.
Good Qualities
- It does mark the first appearance of the rest of Lincoln's friend group's parents, like Mr. Spokes and Mr. and Mrs. Gurdle.
- Lincoln does owe up to his mistake at the end of the episode.
- Rusty's punishment at the end can be funny to some people.
- The McBride parents being interviewed brings good comedy.
- The episode does teach a good moral to not jump to conclusions so soon, but it is executed very poorly in this episode.
Reception
The episode received generally mixed-to-negative reviews from fans, receiving a 5.9/10 rating on IMDb.
