Super Seducer: How to Talk to Girls (simply known as Super Seducer) is a simulation game developed and published by dating coach Richard LaRuina under the name RLR Training Inc. in cooperation with Red Dahlia Interactive for macOS and Microsoft Windows on March 6, 2018. It serves to teach young men how to pick up a date in a video game format.
Why It's Not Seductive At All
- Poor grasp of the actual reality of getting a date. Some of the choices are either outdated or will end up making you look like a creep if you perform them in real life, some of them feel like they're quotes said in porn movies.
- Barely even a game. All it boils down to is to pick a choice and, if you don't get scolded, you proceed.
- Richard is very creepy and unlikable. In one scenario, he tries to get a friend going through hard times to have sex with him.
- The acting for the "game" is really bad and on the same level as The Room.
- Richard outright tells you to manipulate (or, in his words, use "Psychology" on) women into dating you.
- It is very clear that Richard has no acting experience at all as he delivers his lines and actions in a really awful manner.
- For every wrong choice that you made and viewed, you'll be greeted by Richard himself scolding you in his bedroom - and this happens very frequently.
- Richard looks like John Wick without his personality nor charm.
- The game originally had a Kickstarter page but was yanked out at the last minute by Kickstarter for violating its "no seduction manuals" rule.
- The menu screen music tries (and fails) to imitate romantic feeling of the late George Michael's "Careless Whisper".[1]
- Richard actually filed a false DMCA against YouTuber IAmPattyJack for his review of Super Seducer and started a Twitter fight with him, showing that he can't take even the slightest bit of criticism.[2]
- Richard is British, yet he openly mocks British women and called them "overweight" and "entitled" in an interview with Good Morning Britain in 2017.[3]
Redeeming Qualities
- The acting is so bad that it's quite laughable.
- The game has Mass Effect's dialogue system and the choices seamlessly blend into the game just like Late Shift.
