Why It Makes Us A Great Fate

  1. The game is a huge improvement over Wrath of the Mutants, since this one is way more fun and satistying to play, when the former is quite boring and repetitive.
  2. Speaking of WIR#1, the gameplay is really fun and is one of the best from a Turtles game yet, and also feel a bit like an even better version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: Mutant Nightmare (albeit, without the mission system), and the gameplay is one of the most fluid of the franchise and will never ever be boring at all.
  3. Great graphics that are very stylish to look at, the art style is also faithful to the comic book of the same name, not to mention that they are very colorful and detailled and this might be one of the best looking game of the franchise.
  4. Great voice acting that feature a lot of cast for all the characters, also most of the actors reprised their roles here and they sound just as great as before.
  5. Solid controls, since they are tight and responsive and the characters will never be unresponsive at all, even when compared to other great Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games such as Shredder's Revenge.
  6. Great cutscenes that had an amazing art style for a mobile game, and also they look like they came from the show, they look even better in the Switch and PC ports, due to being in higher resolution.
  7. The Switch and PC ports are improvement from the Apple original version, despite just being minor things such as:
    • The controls are more comfortable due to using the d-pad, and also the controls sheme is a bit better.
    • The resolution is also better, due to being obiously on more powerful hardware than IOS.
  8. Good soundtrack that is very catchy and epic, and also feature some of the most epic tracks of the games franchise.
  9. Great story that is about that Splinter got kidnapped by Shredder and that the turtles need to rescue him, which is done better than in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Battle Nexus (even though that game is unrelated to this game).
  10. It is overall a great return for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise for the video games, with it being a massive improvement over Wrath of the Mutants and also being one of the best TMNT game for a long time.

Cowabogus Qualities

  1. The Switch and PC port didn't improve much aside from the graphics and resolution, and also doesn't add new contents, but it is still an excellent port, because it is still just as fun.
  2. Sadly, the game is only available on iOS via Apple Arcade subscription. Thought you can play on Switch and PC, since those port are available for purchases.
  3. Sometime, the game might be either too easy or too hard, especially in the later levels for the hard parts of the game.

Reception

The game received positive reviews by both critics and gamers and is considered to be one of the best TMNT game yet, it hold a score of 74 on Metacritic for the Switch version.
