Temptation: The New Sale of the Century is an American syndicated television game show based on the game show Sale of the Century and its Australian reboot Temptation. It ran in the 2007-2008 season.

Why It Fails to Sell

  1. Rossi Morreale is a boring host.
  2. Rolanda Watts' announcing is annoying, and her announcements may have been pre-recorded.
  3. Terrible format that rips off better shows.
  4. The show tried too hard to pander to women, including only male models and prizes that only women would want.
  5. Losing contestants only get "lots of love" from Rossi.
  6. The plugs about the items are eerily similar to Shoppers Casino.
  7. It is likely a franchise killer for Sale of the Century, as no attempts were made to revive Sale of the Century after Temptation ended.
    • In addition to that, it contributed to the Writer's Guild strike of 2008 with haphazard taping schedules.
