"The Battery Problem (Combo Panda)"
A literal journey to the internet, how cool is that?
Episode Number: 29
Air Date: January 28, 2023
Previous episode: The Elf
Next episode: Peck's VR Problem

The Battery Problem is the 29th episode of the Sunnyside School series of Combo Panda, a spin-off YouTube channel of the Ryan's World franchise.

Why It Charges Fast

  1. While the plot is minimal and lackluster, the idea is surprisingly executed well.
  2. All of the characters are likable in the episode, even Combo Panda himself.
    • The fact that Combo listens to his own metaphorical punching bag that is Peck is quite a spectacle to see.
    • This is one of multiple episodes where Robo-Combo doesn't play an antagonistic role, as he's more of an anti-hero who follows whoever he wants in general. Throughout most of the episode, and because he's malfunctioning here, he says random things which might be considered funny to some.
  3. The idea of literally going into the internet to save a robot works well due to its great execution.
  4. When Combo goes to the internet (literally), he arrives on YouTube and finds videos of him, making the video feel more faithful to the franchise in general.
  5. During his internet adventure, he sees that ads are everywhere. An awesome animation plays of him defeating the ads and getting the battery before it's out of stock. This animation appears to use a mix of traditional and flash animation, which might look mediocre, but it's better than the motion-capture usually used in the videos.

Bad Qualities

  1. The animation of Combo fighting the ads is stiff and clunky. Also, similar to the thumbnail, Combo can look very off-model in the animation at times, which might be quite creepy to some.
  2. The video can be quite boring to watch to some, and seems a bit rushed.
