The Cramp Twins is a show that aired on Cartoon Network and 4KidsTV from 2001-2004. It follows the adventures of the Cramp Family, and the rivalry between Lucien and Wayne.

Crampy Qualities

  1. Ugly art style and character designs, although the books that this was based on aren't any better.
  2. The show highly relies on gross-out humor, specifically The Spit Collector.
  3. Besides the gross nature of the show, it is also mean-spirited. Wayne always likes to bully and torture Lucien for no good reason.
  4. Unlikable characters (with the exception of Wayne and Tony) such as:
    • Wayne almost always gets away with his bullying nature.
    • Mrs. Hissy is very unlikable. She is mean to her students, majority of the time, its Wayne.
    • Wendy is also unlikable because she is the typical rich mean girl stereotype.
    • Lucien and Wayne's parents are neglectful most of the time.
    • The school counselor Mr. Pretty is a bully that should not be allowed to counsel children.
  5. Lucien while likeable is a massive Butt-Monkey in the show, usually because of Wayne.
  6. Even though the episode Twins Toys was an okay finale, the episode's ending was terrible

Good Qualities

  1. Lucien (Despite being a Butt-Monkey) and Tony are likable characters.
  2. Despite being a mean-spirited karma houdini, Wayne is still somewhat funny.
  3. Some funny moments here and there.
  4. Although the art style is ugly, the animation is decent.
  5. Wayne sometimes gets his comeuppance.
  6. Good voice acting, such as Tom Kenny as Wayne and Kath Soucie as Lucien.
