Therefore, Mountain expresses friendship to Nobita and provides him with food and accommodation. Nobita is punished by his teacher to stand for forgetting to do his homework. When Nobita is chased by Gian and Suneo to mountain, Mountain sends bees to drive away, and then Doraemon asks him to go home, Nobita orders mountain to send birds to drive Doraemon away. After returning home at night and being scolded by his mother, Nobita returns to mountain again, vowing not to return to school and home. Doraemon immediately takes out gadget and communicates to the elf in the mountain, saying that it is not good for Nobita at all, and asks for Nobita to return to real life, but the elf in the back mountain said that he likes Nobita and quarrels with Doraemon stand up. However, when Nobita wakes up and orders mountain to drive Doraemon away, Mountain lets Nobita falls into the soil out of thin air, and Doraemon goes to negotiate with mountain alone. Why This Episode Is Alive
- The concept of an alive forest is a good concept and had a lot of potential, and this episode execute this concept very well.
- All the characters are likable.
- Doraemon is always there to help Nobita as usual, even with what he did put up in some parts of the episode and tried to find him along with the Nobita friends.
- Gian, Suneo and Shizuka are also likable here, and while Gian may had been unlikable at the beginning for trying to beat up Nobita for no reasons, he redeem himself by accepting to help Doraemon, Suneo and Shizuka trying to find Nobita.
- Nobita, while somewhat unlikable at the middle of the episode due to not wanting to show up, he is still a fairly likable character and is well written as usual, and is relatable considering that when his parents got angry at him, he did run away.
- The second half of the episode where Nobita friends try to find Nobita is the best half so far, even if it's not action packed like in some movies, it still fun to watch and is entairtaining, even if you don't understand Japanese.
- A few funny moments, such as the forest defending Nobita from Gian and Suneo, or when Nobita got chased by the bees.
- The fact that this episode last 21 minutes make it even better because of the second half.
- The fact that Nobita want to escape being scold and also want to escape school and homework is very relatable and show that this anime can be related to you if you had any of those issues.
- Great animation and voice acting as usual, even better the animation is in widescreen.
- Good Moral: Running away from your house is never always the solution and you can use better solution if you get scold by your parents.
- Amazing Ending: Nobita friends found him, he goes to his house again and does make up with his parents, who were worried about him.
The Only Bad Quality
- The teacher is unlikable for scolding Nobita, sure he may had forgot to do his homeworks but it's not an excuse to scold him right in front of the class.
