The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction is an open world action-adventure beat-em up video game developed by Radical Entertainment and published by Vivendi Universal Games. It was released on August 23, 2005 for the Nintendo GameCube, PlayStation 2 and Xbox.

Why It Ultimately Smashes

  1. The game fully embraces being the Incredible Hulk. It lets you destroy an entire city and roam around a desert. It is also considered an improvement over the decent 2003 Hulk game based on the divisive Ang Lee film.
  2. Great voice acting by Fred Tatasciore, Neal McDonough, Ron Perlman and Richard Moll.
    • This game is Fred Tatasciore's first voice acting portrayal of the Hulk.
  3. The graphics are amazing for a sixth generation superhero game and still hold up.
  4. You can unlock different skins and shorts for the Hulk, such as Abomination, Joe Fixit and Grey Hulk.
  5. The game was written by Paul Jenkins, a longtime Marvel Comics writer.
  6. The boss fights are fun, with Abomination being the best boss.
  7. The Hulk can weaponize items so he can use them to attack enemies.
  8. You can purchase upgrades for the Hulk by completing missions and defeating enemies.
  9. The Hulkbusters are given a unique design to keep them separate from the original ones made by Tony Stark.
  10. The cover art looks like an actual Hulk comic book.
  11. You can find hidden Hulk comic book covers.

Bad Qualities

  1. The level design can be repetitive.
  2. The story mode can be a little short.
  3. Some bosses can be tough and hard to complete.

Game Tips
