On June 15, 2012, at 11:00AM, Gloob was launched, being the first children's channel created by Globosat from Globo and the second children's channel created in Brazil, after the creation of TV Rá-Tim-Bum by TV Cultura on December 1, 2004. With a 10 second countdown, was followed by with a manifest, the channel's jingle "É nosso mundo" ("It's our world"), sung by Gilberto Gil and Ivete Sangalo and soon after, the introduction of the channel's initial programming was shown, with Detetives do Prédio Azul starting the channel.
