The Littlest Penguin is a PC game created by TheMillz and originally uploaded in flash to Newgrounds in 2016. It was played by Markiplier later in the same year, and by Jacksepticeye two years later in 2018.
Why This Penguin Should Get Punished
- Disturbing and clichéd plot. It's about a penguin who wants to go on adventures and then helps an old penguin commit suicide by throwing a rock towards its head. After that, The Littlest Penguin gets more and more interested in killing.
- Speaking of which, the first death scene has animation poor enough to make the censor that happens during it look pointless.
- Multiple plot holes, such as why The Littlest Penguin agreed to help the old penguin commit suicide in the first place.
- For some reason, there's a tutorial on how to swim, even though swimming never happens again for the entire game.
- It is extremely violent, and the atmosphere of the game changes from passable to eerie, similar to a creepypasta.
- Odd controls, especially the "Get out of the water" physics.
- Non-existent challenge. All you have to do is walking to the right and to the left -in the last screen, killing every other penguin which do not attack you in any way. When you have the chainsaw, you do not have even to press an attack button as you kill the penguins by simply colliding with their hitbox.
- The ability to jump is practically useless since you can overcome every obstacle just by moving towards them until you collide.
- Flawed collision detection. When you have the chainsaw, the hitbox of the titular character includes the chainsaw, too, which means that you can climb on low edges with the aforementioned bug just by walking towards them, resulting in the penguin standing in mid-air, as it can be seen in the screenshot.
- Awful ending: The Littlest Penguin grabs a chainsaw and murders every penguin available in the game. After that, it presumably kills itself and then the Game Over screen appears with chainsaw noises and splattered blood.
- It's very short, taking only 8 minutes to complete.
The Only Redeeming Quality
- The narrator's voice is good to listen to.
