Unfunny Qualities

  1. The video is feminist propaganda that cartoons taught children to oppress women when this is clearly not the case.
  2. The first two cartoons mentioned in the video do not contain any groping in the videos.
  3. They the examples of Betty Boop and Popeye even though the perpetrators were antagonists, and thus the actions were being displayed as bad things to do.
    • In the case Betty Boop, they talked about how "She had to pay the rent, but no one heard of consent," which would give the implications that her landlord was going to let her pay the rent with her body, which is not what happened.
    • With Olive Oil, Bluto is shown to be in the wrong with the clip showing Bluto and Popeye being pushed away from Olive Oil as if to show she has rights.
  4. It has some bad lyrics in the video as some do not even rhyme, and poor writing as some of the lines change the number of syllables.
    • Additionally, it has a bunch of tempo and melody shifts with a total of seven shifts in music throughout the song.
  5. It has some references to live-action media that has very little to do with cartoons, such as Hugh Hefner, the live action footage at the beginning and the end, and Judith Lapierre.
  6. They completely fail to understand Pepe Le Pew's character as he is based on the overconfident French Lover type. Also, it has been shown that Pepe has true feelings for Penelope, with him having absolutely no intention of harming her.
    • Not only that, but they also seem to Insult Pepe himself as the song is called “No Skunks” And the Song ends with the line “Bye Bye Pepe Le Pew”. Which is not only mean spirited but also disrespectful to his Creator Chuck Jones. And if the 2021 controversy is to be taken to account, it makes the line much more tasteless than it was back in 2019.
  7. They also insult a bunch of Disney Princesses and completely fail to understand them:
    1. They say that Ariel gave up her voice for Eric when this is not true as she wanted to go to the surface long before she met Eric.
    2. They also claim that Belle suffered from Stockholm syndrome when this is not the case at all. In reality, it is the Beast who improves himself overtime.
  8. It says that even if women advance in the workplace, their body is still not theirs.
  9. In what is arguably the worst part of the video, they outright demonize Sailor Moon by saying she was groped when that is not true as she was never groped in the original. To add salt to the wound, they even go as far as to show a different anime to Sailor Moon to prove their point which can be easily detectible, showing they did not do research at all.
    • And if that does not convince you they had no ground to stand on, they even go as far as to use someone else's fanart When they show Usagi.[1]
  10. They are also ignorant with some points, such as mentioning that Judy Jetson wore miniskirts, even though some women just like to wear miniskirts.
  11. They told viewers to join the organisation Time's Up, which is an organisation that despite claiming to use donations to help victims of sexual harassment, has used donated money to pay off salaries of their executives.

Funny Qualities

  1. The visuals are pretty nice even if some clips are shown out of context.
  2. The song is admittedly catchy with a good beat, despite the melody changes.
