Come on guys, just because Caillou accidentally broke Clementine's bucket, doesn't mean you had to be so hard on him!

Three's a Crowd is episode 14a of Season 2 of Caillou.

Plot

Caillou, Mommy, and Rosie go to the park, where they join Leo and Clementine already playing in the sandbox. Caillou and Leo are having a great time playing spaceman when Leo trips and falls, hurting his foot. After supper one night, Caillou and Jason and Jeffrey decide to play hid and seek in the backyard.

Why It's Crowded

  1. Both Leo and Clementine are very unlikable in this episode, as they're mean to Caillou all over knocking down the sandcastle and breaking Clementine's bucket on accident.
    • Leo also says to Caillou, "You break everything!" even though he doesn't.
  2. The episode is three-minute Caillou torture due to his friends not allowing him to play with them.
    • Even if Caillou's one of the worst cartoon characters in media, he shouldn't be tortured like this.
  3. Leo and Clementine never get punished for their behavior towards Caillou, making them Karma Houdinis.
  4. Plot Hole: Why didn't Caillou tell his mom, Clementine's mom, or Leo's mom that Leo and Clementine were being mean to him?
  5. Leo and Clementine also don't even apologize to Caillou at the end.
    • Although they become friends again when Caillou lends Clementine his bucket, it still doesn't fix anything.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. Caillou is actually likable in this episode, which is surprising considering that he's the most despised character in the series.
  2. The beginning was decent until Caillou accidentally knocked down the castle and broke Clementine's bucket.
  3. Good ending: Despite what WIC#3 said, Leo, Clementine, and Caillou do become friends again.
