Toxic Shark is a horror movie that premiered on Syfy on August 3, 2017.

Plot

A day of relaxation becomes deadly for a group of singles when they realize they are not alone. While enjoying activities near the ocean, the guests have no idea they are being hunted by deadly sharks.

Why It Can Spray Toxic on You

1. The idea between 3 girls and 3 exes fighting against the shark turned out to be very bad.
2. It is a blatant rip-off of Jaws.
3. Awkward and laughable design of the shark itself.
4. The CGI work is very cheap.
5. Poor acting performance, especially by Kabby Borders and Bryce Durfee.
6. Lack of character development.
7. There were no clean kills.
8. During the final showdown against the shark, Audra, Jesse and Zane sacrificed, getting killed by the shark and as such, Eden, Erin and Sam were left in a disbelief.
   • It took a long time to end as the remaining members repaired a boat and rode on to the point where the shark at. Erin found a very powerful weapon and used it to defeat the shark.

The Only Redeeming Quality

1. Even though many of the characters aren't good, Erin was the movie's most likable character.

Reception

Toxic Shark received unfavorable reviews from the critics. It has a score of 3.3 on IMDB and a score of 35% on Rotten Tomatoes.
