Plot

After the Bergens invade Troll Village, Poppy (Anna Kendrick), the happiest Troll ever born, and the overly cautious, curmudgeonly Branch (Justin Timberlake) set off on a journey to rescue her friends. Their mission is full of adventure and mishaps, as this mismatched duo try to tolerate each other long enough to get the job done.

Why It Has the Feeling

  1. It's very faithful to the Trolls toy, and the film is a faithful adaption of the Trolls toys.
  2. Unique animation that is a huge step up from previous DreamWorks Animation films and giving it a scrapbook aesthetic with pretty much everything being made out of felt.
  3. There's a lot of funny moments.
  4. The musical numbers are well done and catchy.
  5. There is a lot of likable characters, such as Poppy, Branch, Biggie, King Peppy, Cooper, etc.
