Twisted Metal III is a vehicular combat video game developed and published by 989 Studios for the PlayStation. It is the first game in the series to be developed by 989 Studios. Bad Qualities
- Ugly graphics for a PS1 game. Twisted Metal 1 and 2, while they haven't aged well, looked decent for the time.
- Long load times.
- Broken physics engine.
- Terrible handling.
- Bad endings which all end up horribly, as none of the playable drivers get what wish they wanted.
- Poor sound effects.
- The new characters are all bland and unlikable.
- Bad arena design.
- Bland vehicle design.
- Bad in-game dialogue, especially compared to the previous games.
- The character backstories are all very bland and uninteresting.
Good Qualities
- Good soundtrack like Rob Zombie's Meet the Creeper.
- While they haven't aged well the cutscenes looked decent for the time.
- Great voice acting from Calypso for the time.
- At least the AI is a improvement from its first two entries.
