Good Qualities

  1. The story is really faithful to the original counterparts, thought this game was based on the Manga until Chapter 7.
  2. The gameplay is interesting and has more varied that not getting repetitive. There's shoot 'em up levels, open-ended levels, and top-down hub worlds.
    • The open-ended levels, where you're control Grendizer and your objective is battling against the enemies, doing the certain objective, and fight the boss at the end of the levels.
    • After you're completed the open-ended levels, you doing the shoot 'em up levels. This levels are the same objective like the open-ended ones, but more linear.
  3. The open-ended levels is far better than Skull Island: Rise of Kong, because it has objectives mark that not getting lost.
    • Not to mention, the map is huge, so it did a good job to making thing easier.
  4. There's so many collectibles in this game, making more replay value than Kong.
  5. The Grendizer and other mecha size isn't small, unlike Kong, this one is big, it's more senses in terms of size.
  6. The graphics are colorful and cartoony look, and while some model can be outdated, the mecha however is really great detail.
  7. The control is really tight and not so clunky/slippery, unlike Skull Island: Rise of Kong.
  8. Combat of this game is better than Kong. While the combat are repetitive, it has more abilities than that game.
  9. Their abilities is good and all of them are sources from the manga. There's Hand Beam, Screwy punch, and so much more.
    • These abilities also can be upgraded.
  10. The bosses however has so many and more challenges than Kong, you're still has mashing the button, but the bosses has more pattern to making more challenging.
  11. The voice acting is great for French, Arabic, Italian and most recently Japanese dubs.
    • While the English dub is terrible, it's nice to see for the first Go-Nagai anime/manga that has English dub.

Bad Qualities
