"Unleashed" is the 36th episode of the eighth season of Teen Titans Go!, and the 401st overall episode of the series.

Plot

Trigon shows off his collection of conquered planets, which includes Acmetropolis.

Why Unleashing This Episode is Indeed a Bad Idea

  1. The biggest problem with that episode that it offends and makes fun of Loonatics Unleashed (despite being a bad show) as they killed them off.
  2. The concept on making a Teen Titans Go! and Loonatics Unleashed crossover is a terrible idea, considering that both shows are hated and this show managed to kill it off and insulted Warner Bros. even more.
  3. Even worse, the Titans still haven't recovered from their flanderizations despite the show airing for 10 years. They (except Raven) gave fans and haters of that series the biggest middle finger yet when they destory Acmetropolis. What the hell were they thinking?
  4. Trigon is just an idiot in this episode as he is responsible for killing of the Loonatics
  5. This episode is far worse than Loonatics Unleashed itself and is a painful way to end that series.
  6. Trigon also likes that show in the episode, despite the show getting a lot of hate.
  7. Lots of gross-out moments, such as when Starfire burps fire out of her and when Robin lays an egg.
  8. Overall, this episode is not only a huge middle finger to Loonatics Unleashed fans, but to any Looney Tunes media in general. It also shows that this show serves as a soapbox for Sam Register.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. The designs of the Teen Toonatics are cool.
  2. Raven, Nana, and Cat are the only likable characters. Raven even admits that Looney Tunes is good as she says that she loves it.
  3. Trigon does get comeuppance at the end of the episode for being idiotic by killing the Loonatics despite liking them (meaning that he is a traitor) as well as sending the Titans into Acmetropolis.
  4. Some funny jokes, such as the scene where Cyborg turns the stop sign into a burger is pretty funny.

Trivia

  • This is the next crossover that features another Warner Bros. cartoon of 2000's after the movie Teen Titans Go! vs. Teen Titans.

  • This episode premiered the day after Kevin Michael Richardson's 60th birthday.
  • The fourth wall is broken with all the Loonatics Unleashed references and Raven talking to the audience near the end of the episode.
  • This is the first episode that uses different font in the episode's title.
