Unrest at the Nursery! is the 95th episode of Pokémon the Series: Black & White, and the 752nd episode of the Pokémon anime. It was first broadcast in Japan on September 20, 2012 and in the United States on January 12, 2013.

Summary

While Ash trains Scraggy to perfect its Focus Blast, the heroes encounter a Rufflet and Vullaby who constantly get into fights at a Nursery, while Cilan tries to figure out the cause.

Why This Episode Doesn't Get Any Rest

1. This is another bad filler episode.
2. Most of the episode centers around Rufflet and Vullaby fighting for Layla's affection, which already got old when it was introduced.
3. A few bland scenes, making it a filler episode.
4. The infamous scene where Vullaby attacks Karrablast, Whimsicott, and Petilil with Punishment, making them all cry.
   • Granted, she only did this to stop the disruptions they caused, but still.
5. Despite realizing that she upset Vullaby and made her run away, Layla doesn't apologize to her.
6. Iris barely serves any purpose in this episode.

Redeeming Qualities

1. The animation and voice acting are still good as usual.
2. Ash's Scraggy masters Focus Blast.
3. Thankfully, it's just a filler episode. So, if they want to, the fans can skip it.
