Note: I've decided to create this as to cerebrate the upcoming remake that was announce on the Nintendo Direct of September 14, 2023!

What lies behind the Thousand-Year Door...

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is an RPG game that was created in 2004 on the GameCube, it is the sequel to Paper Mario and is the second game in the Paper Mario series.

In the Nintendo Direct of September 14, 2023, it has been announce that a remake will be released in 2024.

Plot

Mario must collect seven Crystal Stars before the X-Nauts do, and reach the Thousand-Year Door to access its treasure. Along the way, he meets six (optionally seven) partners, each with their own unique abilities, who agree to help him on his quest.

Why This Game Rocks

  1. Smooth controls.
  2. Fantastic graphics even for a 2004 game.
  3. Balanced difficulty. not too hard, not too easy.
  4. A much more in-depth and darker story that is handled very well.
  5. Memorable characters.
  6. A great roster of creative and fun bosses.
