The Town Christmas Forgot is a live-action, family Christmas Film create by Hallmark and was made in November 25, 2010.
Plot
On his way to a luxury resort for the Christmas holiday, banker Charles Benson's car breaks down, so his family gets stuck in Nowhere, Colorado, a sleepy town which seems to be dying since its mine closed. Son Nolan befriends the grumpy old former toy shopkeeper, and pushes the charmed grump to become the naturally perfect Santa in the Christmas pageant his mother helped organize despite the disheartened mayor. Charles gets stuck in the mine with the mechanic, whom he befriends, and ends up as the real Christmas benefactor.
Why This Film Is A Merry Christmas And A Happy New Year
- The precis of The Town Christmas Forgot is a really neat take on Christmas.
- Excellent Soundtrack.
- Well written and memorable characters.
- So many heart-warming moments, such as Nolan's relation with the Toy Store Owner.
- A lot of memorable scenes such as the family's time in the hotel.
- Great seance of dark moments, while at the same time having a good seance of humor.
- Beautiful ending: The family chose to go back to Colorado to help the play and Charles Benson helps out the mayor open up his ski-resort.
