Why It Deserves the Hero of the Year Award
- Supergirl gets a lot of character development in this movie, as we see her origin story and the powers her Kryptonian crystal holds. She is also the one to defeat Eclipso.
- The animation is better than the series' usual standards, which is to be expected for a movie based on a show.
- Throughout the movie, Harley Quinn's antics during the Hero of the Year ceremony show are hilarious.
- Good moral: Being a true hero requires you to make sacrifices to help your friends and family.
Bad Qualities
- The movie has a hard time keeping track of its subplots, which include:
- Hawkgirl teaches Beast Boy how to be a proper gentleman.
- Lady Shiva can't trust Big Barda, despite the latter having turned over a new leaf.
- Bumblebee needs a new battery for her suit but can't find one.
