NHL 24 is a sports video game that is developed by EA Vancouver and published by EA Sports. It is released on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

Good Qualities

1. The innovation and gameplay is vastly improved from the predecessor.
2. While they both sadly barely got changed this year, Be a Pro and Franchise mode are still fun to play for diehard fans.
3. The hitting players into the bench and the breaking glass features return.
4. A good soundtrack that has a highly requested song, “LosT”.
5. The World of Chel mode, while a battle pass was introduced, is fairly improved from last year.
6. Decent graphics, even if it's look a bit outdated.

Bad Qualities

1. The infamous celebration screen is very lazily done as only one of the players do a celebration animation and that player’s teammates just skate towards them. It honestly feels like the developers thought they were done with that animation after they just designed the goal scorer to do a celebration.
2. Similar to NBA 2K24, a paid battle pass was introduced in the World of Chel mode. Not helping is the fact that this game costs $70 dollars.
3. There are some bugs like not being able to request a trade in be a pro, your be a pro player aging up to 23 when you edit them during your career, and the X-Factor ability not unlocking after you complete all the objectives to obtain the ability.
4. The “Thor!” song on the soundtrack is a out of place song for a hockey videogame.
5. As mentioned above, the franchise and be a pro modes have barely anything new to them, but they can still be fun to play.
