Blue Protocol is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed by Bandai Namco and published by them in Japan, announced back in 2019 and released on June 14, 2023 in Japan. The game ended up being a commercial failure for Bandai Namco, resulting the game shutting down in less than 2 years on January 18, 2025, with the global release published by Amazon Games and the Korean release published by Smilegate cancelled.

Why It Flopped

1. First off, Bandai Namco selected a team that wasn't experienced on working on MMORPGs at the time, which resulted in many factors of this game's troubled production and many delays.
