Big Brother Brasil (often abbreviated as BBB) is the Brazilian version of the reality show Big Brother, produced and aired on TV Globo. Its first season began on January 29, 2002, with a second season airing the same year. From the third season, it became annual. Currently, BBB is aired from January to the end of April, and is currently hosted by Tadeu Schmidt (formerly Marisa Orth, Pedro Bial and Tiago Leifert) and general direction by Rodrigo Dourado, under the direction of the nucleus by Boninho.
While BBB has a lot of good seasons, seasons 6, 12, 14, 17, 19 and 22-23 were extremely negatively received by critics and fans for good reasons.
