Nuggets and Max are saving Life! is the 8th episode of the web series Gegagedigedagedago by Max Design Pro.
Why It Intentionally Saves No Lives
NOTE: An expected for Max Design Pro's videos, this was made as a joke. Please don't take this seriously.
- By the look of the animation style, it looks like if it were to be an Elsagate cartoon, but without any dodgy situations, even though Max Design Pro is not a Elsagate channel, despite being a content farm.
- Poor grammar: The title looks like it was made by a 6 year old who hasn't learnt how to get good grammar. The video would have been titled "Nuggets & Max Are Saving Lives!"
- As Max Design Pro is a content farm channel, the video appears to be trying to be hip & cool with Gen Alpha as this is a show about the Gegagedigedagedago nugget who sings a parody of the song Cotton Eye Joe, and that the video uses the genre of a variety of people requiring battery power to stay alive. This is very popular towards Gen Alpha.
- The nugget, as mentioned before, can be treated as a butt-monkey.
- An expected for MDP videos, like baiting. All you see is a reminder to like the video to help the old nugget, and he doesn't react, and that's it.
- For some reason, the nugget that calls Max and the Gegagedigedagedago nugget for help has arms in his first scene, but he loses them once the scene switches.
- The Gegagedigedagedago nugget's repetitive singing can be quite irritating.
- Plot holes:
- How did the defibrillators somehow charge back up into full power once the like button was clicked by the finger?
- How did the old nugget come back to life when they lose their remaining battery power? They could have stayed dead in that situation, even if they were electrocuted.
- How did the old nugget's hair and eyebrows turn blonde upon coming back to life?
Redeeming Qualities That Saved Some Lives
- Much like Max Design Pro's other videos, it has a pretty decent art style and animation, especially for a content farm video compared to others.
- The characters in the video are pretty much likeable.
- The use of copyrighted sound effects (especially from internet memes) and the context of the video can give off a "so bad, it's good" vibe.
Controversy
The episode was later uploaded onto Max Design Pro's Twitter account on May 17, 2024. After that, it got community noted, pointing out that the video promoted misuse of the Red Cross, which is a violation to the Geneva Conventions. Overall, it didn't affect them that much, posting another video a few days later. Some people quoted the tweet, joking about they're ignoring the fact that they just committed a war crime.
