Characters I Like Seperate From The Media

Are there any characters you like alone but you’re not a fan of the media they are from? Well, I have some!

Here Are Mine:

• Toots Baunstein (Drawn Together): Drawn Together is just too out there for me, I have absolutely no desire to watch it. But I do like Toots, mainly, her design. Like, she’s a character I can just draw alone or with characters from media I am a fan of or just enjoy!
• Tankman/Captain John (Tankmen Series and Friday Night Funkin): Friday Night Funkin is just not my cup of tea but I do like Tankman. He’s very cool and a very funny character! I watched his segment on the game and I just laughed at his cutscenes, he’s just hilarious! Also, there’s a popular fan theory that he’s Pico’s adoptive father in the game and it spawned the cutest fanart, like you just have artwork of him cooing at and feeding Baby Pico. However, I am surprised the fans didn’t draw him changing diapers like other fandoms do it, why? It’s part of life but I guess the FNF fans are probably very classy people since they don’t bother to draw that. And I also noticed he’s not the only one in his terrain that looks like him, he has many other tankmen too, fighting each other. So, what is he? I know he’s a Tankman but what is his species? I assume he’s an alien because his area has yellow sky unlike Earth where the sky is blue (except when the sun is setting or rising). Maybe Boyfriend and Girlfriend just go to his home planet, a planet where everyone is constantly at war. And I would not be surprised if the Tankmen are in fact aliens. And I have another question, are there any tankwomen? Women can be soldiers too. And if there’s females, how are they treated? Are they expected to fight in the war, or just stay back and nurse wounded soldiers and cook them meals? (Like it’s a war, I bet they have infirmaries for the soldiers go to, they get wounded from war, someone is patching them up) Also, do the Tankmen reproduce? If they do, the female Tankmen likely stay back to raise the tank babies and probably teach the children how to fight. Like, there’s millions on what seems to be a whole planet, they have to reproduce somehow. (And are they like us? Or since they’re likely aliens, is it different? Like, maybe they’re seahorses (which I doubt it) where the males carry the babies. Or are they like bats where just like us and almost every species on earth carries the baby but the males can lactate and nurse the baby (also weird), and it’s true, male bats lactate. Either way, I just want to know how this species works) I just want to learn more about his species because they seem interesting. Plus, I kinda plan to draw Tankman finding a baby from his kind that was just abandoned because their parents were killed (I bet it happens to his species’ young at times) so he just takes the baby because obviously they can’t be left alone, he also feels the need to take them home because he remembers his adoptive son, Pico. He has his friend, Steve go get baby necessities while he consoles the baby. When Steve gets back, he feeds the baby because obviously, it’s been a long time since the baby had any milk. But he does this after changing the baby’s diaper (an abandoned baby would likely be in the same diaper for hours), only to learn the baby is a girl, he’s weirded out because he only raised a human boy so a female tankbaby (tankling? tanklet? Whatever the babies are called) is a whole new world to him. And I will draw him caring for this baby (just sketches) because I like that fanart of him as an adorable father (a…. mother? Is the best mom mug canon?) and I want to draw some of my own. Plus, I wonder is the helmet and visors just something everyone wears or is it part of their anatomy? I may also borrow aspects from people’s fanart of the Tankmen, like this one. Like, a Tankbaby shouldn’t be that hard, a baby of this species would likely just look like a shrunken, chubbier Tankman with either a pacifier or just have the top of the suit and the bottom is just a diaper and booties. I also imagine the babies of the species are just adorable! I also want to do this for fun!
• Stinkfly (Ben 10 2016 Reboot): The Ben 10 reboot is awful! I will only watch the original, which I want to watch it! But I like Stinkfly’s design in the reboot, he’s beautiful! And I would like to draw a female Stinkfly, I imagine this alien has beautiful females!

Do you have characters you feel that way towards? Where you don’t like the media or it doesn’t appeal to you but you like the character as their own separate entity?
