Why I'm right

I am completely correct in my edits, I wrote a table explaining most of the changes excluding the bullet-points as they can be self-explanatory if you actually think about them.

Changes Reasoning
REMOVED: "The main problem about Roblox nowadays are Robux, the main currency of the platform. Along with Fortnite's Vbucks, Robux has to be bought with real money for using them anywhere. Despite there being some methods to get them free, like through Microsoft Rewards or community events, etc., require too much time to get and are often too few. Apart from that, Robux is the main cause of many server riots."

ADDED: "The main reason why Roblox currently is bad can be attributed to Roblox becoming a publicly traded company. Roblox has since been trying to make more profits with features like in-game advertisements, Roblox dynamic price floors, and shifting focus from community to profits."

Attributing the reasoning to Roblox being worse is partially because of Robux but mostly to appease stockholders and potential investors by making changes geared more toward adults and profitability. Yes, it is partially true that Robux is reason, it is also missing out the fact that they are publicly traded now.
REMOVED: "Similar To Bing Image Creator's lack of quality control at blocking images even they're not harmful & inappropriate, The option to change your display name in the game while a nice new feature, it also suffers from many of the same problems as the chat filter. It blocks names and words typed that aren’t even inappropriate for Roblox such as “Apple”, “York”, “Abdul”, and more including most other last names of U.S. Presidents. However, “Saddam”, “Osama”, and even “NotZee” are all acceptable names."

ADDED: "The moderation relies greatly on automation, and reporting doesn't work unless you report through their DSA reporting form which is region locked to citizens in the European Union."

This is true, reports are useless, have always been useless and only works in the EU via the DSA reporting form. The part removed is merged into the moderation subpoint as it is part of their automated moderation efforts.
REMOVED: "Roblox supported NFTs (non-fungible token), for those who don't know, NFTs are pieces of digital art that cost lots and lots of money. These stupid abominations are also harmful to the environment, which is dangerous for the planet. If that's not enough, their mere existance is also 100% pointless as you can just take a screenshot of one rather than buying it." Roblox never supported those, like ever, they literally have no reason to do so. If you believe they do, then bring sources.
TYPO FIX: "Roblox has suffered from a lack of direction when it comes to modernizing [was "modernising"] their platform. While they have done good progress on letting developers access to more features in the engine, on modernization they've taken a massive step back from their original concept. Roblox seems to be more interested in pleasing business interests than the general community in which their decisions leaned toward catering the developers who want to profit from creating games and have been transitioning the platform into a "Metaverse"." Fixed a typo
REMOVED: "The game can barely even handle its own physics at times. Back then, the destructible scenery, building, and physics were very advanced for their time and encouraged players to use them. While still decent, now, sometimes during explosions with destructible scenery, the blocks often times bug out and freeze midair. Also, sometimes while driving a car, wheels spaz out and the car becomes uncontrollable or that moving platforms may not always carry the player with them. Also, if the map is full of things, Roblox will lag horribly, sometimes even a Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080Ti struggles to run the game properly."

ADDED: "Sometimes when Roblox updates, Lua scripts can break requiring game developers to fix them in order for the game to function again."

It is unfair to blame Roblox on something that can be explained with logic. Roblox has to both render parts moving at high-speeds due to an explosion on the server many times a second because it is an explosion, and also on the client as well. On the topic of the cars, that is also completely not Roblox's fault either, it is the developers fault. What is their fault is breaking Lua every two weeks without notice or backward compatibility.
REMOVED: "They announced that the Experimental Mode will restrict every non-filtering enabled game and older games, but didn’t last very long due to massive backlash. Many players critically panned the update, and even DevForumers protested. Thankfully, it has been removed. Many older games were however left broken, due to forced filtering enabled mode, until Experimental Mode will add back and update." Filtering enabled was a necessary evil, a change on the client-side would render for all players because there was no separation between server and client side which is WHY they stopped it in the first place. Either way, your favorite game would be ruined whether it be from exploiters or filtering enabled.
REMOVED: "#Lots of cosmetic items and even limiteds you can buy for your character are disgustingly overpriced. Who would spend 40,000 Robux for a fedora? (35,000 Robux is US$200.)"

ADDED: "Cosmetic items can be incredibly overpriced."

Simplify it, don't need more words to explain something that could be explained in 6 words.
REMOVED: "#Since 2016, it became one of the worst/toxic communities ever. It's too rude, egocentric, spoiled, childish, annoying, not empathetic, and toxic to new players (Noobs), full of hackers and other scammers. People would often make fun of new players just for having free Roblox clothes, because they are considered "ugly" just because they "are not purchasable with Robux". For their information, not everybody can afford Robux anyways. And it gets worse over the years." Every single game has a toxic community, it just takes looking. Ridiculous to blame Roblox for that.
REMOVED: "Their new logo as of late 2017 looks extremely generic and lacks the style the 2006-2017 logo had." Whilst true, it is still extremely opinionated.
REMOVED: "Speaking about communities, the moderation is so terrible it can easily compete with modern YouTube's one:" Second "OOF!" Qualities
REMOVED: "In 2021, Roblox was exposed for exploiting children and teenage players in several ways." Roblox never promised them sums of money, the "stock market" isn't necessarily bad.
REMOVED: "#As speaking of "O!"Q #10, Roblox has been known to be insecure with hackers and bots. Many popular games such as Apocalypse Rising, Jailbreak, Arsenal, Prison Life or Phantom Forces have been vulnerable to cheaters who would insert cheats in-game, in which Roblox's anti-cheat rarely detects them. Even if these accounts got banned, the cheaters can still bypass by the account creation which is very easy and quick to do." Not really an issue anymore after Hyperion, plus planning on adding a revamped version of this soon.
REMOVED: "#Recently, Roblox is now the home to an enormous quantity of shovelware constantly published on the platform. These are most made to cash out other popular games or trends, suffer from bad scripting, and lack level design, which can be very repetitive and clichè. The most notorious example of a shovelware game in Roblox is the Obbies, obstacle courses in which you do parkour among platforms and dodge red neon blocks which would insta-kill you, which are simply boring due to their easy difficulty (in which they even arrive to make it evident by calling them "Super easy obby") and the enormous amount of levels. Other shovelware examples in Roblox are:" They aren't necessarily bad.
REMOVED: "#Apart from the shovelware, the site has some recent popular games which are bad as:" Most retarded thing I've seen yet. Most of these are good games (I'd say all of these) but whatever floats your boat.
REMOVED: "#If you have a VR headset (such as Oculus Rift) plugged into your computer, Roblox will default to VR mode and there is no native method of disabling VR mode other than unplugging your headset. Many games do not play well in VR due to poor compatibility and problems with UI." "People can't do something" "Oh yeah, here's how to do the thing that I just said you can't do"
REMOVED: "The platform is updated too frequently, and the worst thing is that these frequent updates are not big and boring, but all these updates are bland and inconsistent because they simply change the menu aesthetics and don't add something brand new and so requested like a stable graphic engine, lag fix, better anti-cheat or the possibility to earn free Robux." Most of these updates are just rearranging the memory addresses to at least temporarily patch exploits.
REMOVED: "#An update for Audios starting on March 22, 2022 while the audios being free now is a good thing, it will result in many of the audios to become private and no longer be usable to anyone anymore, resulting in games that had a radio feature to break, making them almost useless." Yeah, I'll re-add this.
REMOVED: "#While the UGC program has been success at reinvigorating the catalogue with fresh accessories, it has fallen victim to inept quality control. Ever since 2022 when applicant requirements became relaxed, the catalogue has been cluttered with low effort and rule breaking items: oversized accessories, low effort meme items, copyrighted models literally ripped from their games, to duplicates of iconic Roblox Limiteds despite being forbidden. Even if these items do get taken down eventually, it clearly shows how awfully ineffective the moderation is at preventing violating items in the marketplace into being sold in the first place." Probably could be revamped and readded but in its current state, it sucks.
Anything about LuoBu To blame Roblox for the issues of Chinese law is really just nitpicky, and quite frankly, I believe it should be removed, or at the very least, converted into a subpage. Roblox wants to expand its business into the Chinese market and as such, has to abide by Chinese law. It's like complaining about the DSA as an American citizen because it violates free speech, free trade or the ability for a company to do what the fuck it wants to do; it's a foreign law that is required to be enforced if the company wants to engage in business in that country, and that is the same case with LuoBu.

Yeah whatever, that still doesn't change the fact that modern roblox sucks ass, also the logo change is not opinioned, everyone i saw hates the new logo design. Jameschuck (talk) 23:28, September 14, 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Yeah whatever, this still doesn't change the fact that you a stubborn bastard with no intentions to compromise on a wiki. Saying "yeah whatever modern roblox is bad and shit" as if disputing that and that "the logo change is not opinionated", which okay, I might be wrong, but you are just using that to say that this article is inherently incorrect on the basis of one or two claims. Maybe it needs more time to incubate but instead of just clicking (undo) every single time, click the Edit source button and add what you think are bad about the wiki, instead of acting like an illiterate kindergartener. I laid my reasonings in detail, lay down yours. Bongo Cat (talk) 19:57, September 15, 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
hey bongo cat, it is my understanding that you were a bureaucrat on old QP, if that is the case act like it, or risk a temp block - ToTheEdge (talk) 23:03, September 15, 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
There is a reason why I was a bureaucrat on old QP, and hadn't joined new QP for a while, because everyone decides that to be stubborn is easier than arguing their case as is the case with this. I wouldn't have a problem having respectful dialog, but the issue in this case is that he won't say anything other than "modern roblox sucks ass" and then a complaint about one single quality to say that the rest of it is automatically invalid, so why be the nicest person on earth to someone who doesn't value what you say in even the most little bit. Do you dare to revert my edit? I just reverted it because you’re ruining the page with your edits. JalenHurtsFan1 (talk) 20:50, September 22, 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
