Walk the Prank is a hidden prank show created by Adam Small and Trevor Moore that premiered on Disney XD on April 1, 2016.
Plot
The show is about practical jokers, Chance, Herman, Bailey, and Dusty who set funny, scary, or gross-out pranks and find people to perform on.
Why It Should Not Walk the Prank
- The problem with that show is that it is pointless because there are some hidden-camera prank shows that are well-written and better such as Just For Laughs and Just Kidding.
- It would have made sense if this show was not in Disney XD and it aired all episodes on YouTube.
- Remember, this show was in Disney XD, so there was no reason to have inappropriate pranks.
- The title is cringeworthy with the words, "Walk the Prank", having "Walk the Plank" but with the "L" removed in the word "plank".
- The kids in the show, Chance, Herman, Bailey, and Dusty are horribly unlikable characters who set up pranks to prank people, even if it means destroying them.
- They even use supernatural powers to troll them just to make them humiliate, which is cruel.
- In the first episode, Chance, Bailey, and Dusty prank Herman into wearing a diaper, which is not only pedophilic but also implies that the creators are perverts.
- Speaking of them, they do not get comeuppance for their heinous pranks, thus making them karma houdinis.
- Most of the pranks are disturbing and unfunny to watch. One prank even has Dusty's "eye" being pulled out by a telescope, and while it's thankfully fake, it's still very disturbing to look at even by Disney standards.
- The special effects are terrible, especially the pregnant baby prank, which is considered one of the most gross-out humor in the show.
- Herman is shown to be bald in the prank even though, he is not bald nor wears a wig in real life.
- Chance and Dusty criticized Herman for throwing the basketball backwards, despite nailing it by shooting the ball on the hoop; proving that they mock Herman's sportsmanship.
- Jake Paul appears in this show as a guest star in episode 17, "So You Think You Can Middle School Dance", even though he was known for controversies.
- The soundtrack is awful, due to the kids singing "La, la, la, la, la", which is ear-grating.
- Despite being a bad show, it ran for 3 seasons, proving that the writers greenlit the show for nothing.
Redeeming Qualities
- This is the first Disney show to feature hidden-camera pranks, sadly this is poorly-executed at that time.
- This show can be considered "so bad, it's good" because of how it is treated.
Trivia
- The four kids appear in the YouTube video, "GROSS LEMONADE PRANK!!! Delicious Sea Water!, implying that this video takes place before the show premiered.
- The show premiered on April 1, which took place in April Fool's Day.
