"What were you expecting?" (known as: What Are You Expecting?) and (French: Un heureux événement) is the fifteenth episode from season fourth of Zig & Sharko. It was written by Nicolas Gallet and storyboarded by Céline Gobinet.
Plot
In his latest plan to eat Marina, Zig dresses up as a pregnant woman and Sharko who's onto his plan does the same.
Why It's Not An Happy Event
- For starter, this episode had one of the worst concept in the entire series, since it is about Zig that disguise himself as a pregnant girl to capture Marina, in which it is a terrible idea and of course he failed miserably, and he barely could try to eat her, mostly because Sharko joined the party.
- It is also a torture episode for both Zig and Sharko.
- Zig and Sharko are both unlikable in this episode since they take advantages of "being" a pregnant girl just to get the care of Marina, and while Sharko did it so Zig stop try to eat Marina, his execution is very flawed.
- Cargo return is quite pointless in this episode because he is there just for fillers, at such it is a wasted return.
- The ways Zig and Sharko being dressed as a girl is very cringe, even by comparison to other episodes from the previous seasons.
- The pacing is very boring, and thus make this episode an absolute nightmare to watch not only because of the cringe concept but also because of how boring it is, thanks for Zig terrible plan to trying to capture Marina.
- Every attemps at being funny doesn't work for this episode, since it is mostly cringe and thus make it one of the few episodes to barely having any funny moments.
- Terrible Ending: Both Zig and Sharko got caught by Marina and they are forced to take care of the babies, in which all of them crying and it end like that.
The Only Redeeming Quality
- Marina is slighly more likable than Zig and Sharko, until the end.
Trivia
- Cargo Pilot makes an appearance since “Boing! Boing!”, “Front Runner”, “The Power of Attraction”, “Choice Morsels”, and “Bubble-Gum” from season 2.
