Work It Out Wombats! is a children's animated television series that premiered on February 6, 2023, on PBS Kids. The series is produced by GBH Kids and Pipeline Studios. The podcast premiered on January 4, 2024.

Plot

The series follows Malik, Zadie, and Zeke, creative marsupial siblings who live with their grandmother (Super) in her treehouse apartment complex, known as the Treeborhood. Every episode features them encountering a problem of some kind and using computational thinking to solve it. In-between each of the episodes is a 90-second music video.

Why It's Going to Work It Out

  1. The concept of three marsupials living in a treehouse apartment is one heck of an interesting idea.
  2. The animation (by Pipeline Studios) and art style are very cute and decent to look at.
  3. The backgrounds are nice and beautifully drawn.
  4. The character designs, especially for the main trio and Grandma Super, look very cute.
  5. Decent background music.
  6. Very good voice acting, especially from the child actors who played Malik, Zadie, and Zeke.
  7. It has a very catchy theme song, and it will make you dance just listening to it.

Bad Qualities

  1. The theme song, while catchy, is quite fast-paced and simplistic.
  2. Some episodes can be rather boring and hard to sit through.
  3. Despite the show having diversity in it, it's rarely ever talked about. Leiko and Duffy being lesbian kangaroos seems forced and is bassically another moronic attempt at LGBTQ+ pandering.
