The Zazoo Commercial was a 2004 Belgian-French condom advertisement, persuading adults to use condoms if they do not want to experience having a spoiled child not getting what he or she wants. Because of the commercial's nature, it got banned.

Why It Didn't Deserve Those Sweeties/The Big Bag

  1. A little boy throws a lot of fits just because his dad took the big candy bag back into the shelf, in an overly-exaggerated way that is completely unrealistic if compared to the way children behave in real life in similar situations.
  2. The commercial overly-simplifies parenting, controversially implying that one should consider avoiding having children just because they can sometimes be annoying.
  3. This commercial was used to advertise condoms, but it barely mentions anything regarding condoms, until the very end of the ad.
  4. The father didn't even really do anything to calm his son down or scold him for his behavior, other than just shushing him, which wouldn't do anything to calm him down.
  5. The boy in this commercial acts immaturely and very similar to how Caillou behaves when things don't go his way (especially in the infamous episode "Caillou Joins the Circus").
    1. However, unlike Caillou, who is 4, this kid in the commercial didn't even try to act his age and he throws fits in public.
  6. The English dub for the commercial is hilariously bad.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. It does have it "So bad it's good" charm because of how unintentionally funny it is.
  2. The sets are pretty decent.

Trivia

  • It would later be banned in the US, Canada, etc.
