Plot

Indian folklore is the basis for these fables, which include "How the Fox Got His White-Tipped Tale", "Pow Wow and the Stork", "How the Rabbit Got His Hop", and "Pow Wow and Playing Possum".

Bad Qualities

  1. The camera trembles when nothing happens: When nothing is happening, the camera moves.
  2. Pluto from Disney's animated film appears similar to the dog from Pow Wow.
  3. The way the lip-sync works are terrible.
  4. Despite the high quality of the music, it can be repetitive.
  5. In much the same way as Singer's later shows, the theme tries to evoke the Looney Tunes cartoons, but fails.

Good Qualities

  1. Good designs for the characters.
  2. Some episodes of the show were good despite their negative qualities.
  3. It has a catchy theme song.
  4. The backgrounds are still good, even when there is no color in some episodes.
    • However, the animation, while poor can also be considered better than The Adventures of Paddy the Pelican, especially since this show does not reuse animation constantly.

Reception

A DVD compilation of Jerry Beck's worst cartoons ever made included the show.

Trivia

  • In addition to The Adventures of Paddy the Pelican, this was one of the first cartoons made for television.
