Captain Mom is the twenty seventh episode of the fifth season of Henry Danger. It premiered on November 2, 2019 to an audience of 0.77 million viewers.

Plot

Captain Man is being a baby about having a baby. Labour pains leave him helpless so Kid Danger and Piper step up to take on a couple of slick grease thieves.

Why It Sucks

1. The infamous beginning where Jasper would use the "Charlotte dared me to" excuse.
2. The premise of Ray being pregnant with an alien baby is stupid.
   • Plus it ripoffs the better Mighty Med episode, "Oliver Hatches the Eggs".
   • This can also considered the "Stimpy's Pregnant" of Henry Danger.
3. There was one point in the beginning where it seemed like it was trying to appeal to younger audiences (like Modern Nickelodeon does anyway) where Henry dabs when he thinks he won the alien egg catch in mouth contest.
4. The special effects just got worse. Which is really unexpected for seasons 4-5.
5. Ray is back to his unlikable, idiotic self when he complains about being pregnant.
6. The reason the grease thieves are stealing all the grease from Swellview is stupid. Just because they're doctors and say grease is bad for you and no one should have it. Even though it is actually bad for you, it's not that bad to have some grease in your life.
7. The writing is terrible and the jokes are ridiculous.
8. The fact that Henry and Ray thought the alien eggs were lychees isn't funny at all.
9. It's just a bunch of Ray torture.

The Only Redeeming Quality

1. Henry, Charlotte, Piper, and Schwoz are still likable.

Trivia

• The episode title is a throwback to Season 1's "Man of the House", where Henry calls Ray "Captain Dad".
• The viking helmet Piper wears looks similar to the team logo (minus the purple) of the Minnesota Vikings NFL football team.
• A flashback from the episode "The Space Rock" is shown.
• It is revealed that Jake was a Navy Seal.
• Schwoz mentions the music artist Cardi B.
• When Schwoz says the alien would burst out of Ray's stomach, it is a reference to how aliens are born in the Alien films.
