Come Sale Away is the second half of the 19th episode from the first season of The Loud House.

Plot

The children are determined to out-sell each other at the Loud family's annual garage sale.

Why It's a Hunk of Junk That It Made the Buyer Demand a Refund

  1. Lincoln and his sisters (except Lily) are unlikable in this episode as they became very competitive over everything including:
    • Helping their mother Rita carrying in the groceries.
    • See who will make it up the stairs first for bed.
    • See who has the biggest burp.
    • Heck, their competitive nature even led them to sell everything in the house. (No thanks to Lincoln, which will be explained below.)
  2. Out of all of the 10 kids, Lincoln is the most unlikable as he is the cause of all this. He wanted so bad to have a win, so he tried to upped the score by selling some stuff of his house.
  3. This episode brought back the infamous disturbing image of the girls glaring angrily at Lincoln.
  4. Plot hole: Rita and Lynn Sr. were in the house at the exact same time Lincoln and his sisters sold everything in the house, and it only took them until at the end of the episode to see that everything's gone.
  5. This episode ends with one weird joke: After getting grounded by Rita, the siblings all show off their own victory dances, with their parents joining in.
  6. Since Lincoln sold the most stuff, doesn't that mean he technically won the competition?

Redeeming Qualities

  1. Everyone except Lincoln, his sisters and Flip are likable in this episode.
  2. At least the Loud siblings realize their errors when they think they accidentally sold their baby sister Lily's blanket.
  3. Everyone got their comeuppance here:
    • Lincoln and his sisters got grounded by Rita when they told her the truth about what happened with their furniture.
    • And Flip got his karma when his store exploded when he tried to mix in chemicals for swindling the Loud kids.
  4. As always with most episodes of the show, the voice acting and the animation is still good.
  5. There are some hilarious moments here and there.

Trivia

  • It is revealed on a picture on the wall that Lori used to have braces as a young teenager.
  • This episode occurred on a Thursday, because Lynn Sr. was cooking goulash, and in "Fed Up", it's revealed that Lynn Sr. cooks goulash on Thursdays.
  • The old black and white TV from "Left in the Dark" appears in the large pile, as the siblings were selling everything in the house.

International Edits

  • In the Latin American Spanish dub, where Lincoln dismisses having accidentally sold Lily's blanket, Lily says "Lincoln malo, ¡quiero mi mantita!" ("Bad Lincoln, I want my blankie!") instead of babbling like in the original version.
  • In the same dub, Clyde's British accent is localized to a Cuban accent.
