Crock Talk is the second half of episode 18 and the 37th episode of Season 8 of The Fairly OddParents.

Plot

Crocker makes his own reality talk show focusing on monsters that potentially hurt him in the process.

Qualities That Should Get Beaten By Monsters

  1. Misleading Title Card: Crocker is seen wearing a tuxedo for his own talk show in the title card, but he does not wear that in this episode.
  2. While the idea about having their own talk show is interesting, but the problem with this episode the writers put monsters, meaning that it would be nonsense potentially dangerous in real life since they would hurt them. Even Crocker tells people to call support if there are monsters encountered (despite the fact that Timmy Turner already wished for)
    • In Total Drama World Tour's Aftermath: Revenge of the Telethon, Blaineley sending the animals that DJ hurt by pulling the rope would attack her, Geoff, Bridgette, the peanut gallery, and the audience, meaning that this effect works (despite being too mean spirited), here, this episode only wants the monsters to attack Crocker instead of everyone else, making it even ineffective than the former episode.
  3. The monsters here are unlikable and they only treat Crocker like a dartboard.
  4. This is a Crocker torture episode because when he sees monsters in his show, they attack him in their respective interviews. This also includes Mrs. Turner using his head as a bowling ball, which is explained later as she wins the bowling championship at the end of the episode.
      • This is also yet another Crocker-focused episode which it wasn't anything better.
    • When Crocker calls Doug Dimmadome to buy his show, the former accepts it considering that the audience loves to see him getting attacked by monsters, which is a bad idea since monsters would potentially attack the audience in the studio.
      • As Crocker arrives in the studio, he presents Crock Talk to the audience. However, the monsters attack him while wearing a bologna costume because they want to see him cheer, which is stupid. Luckily, Timmy wishes his fairies to transport the monsters in order to stop attacking Crocker, causing the audience to boo and throw fruits. Doug sells his million dollars for canceling the show.

Good Qualities

  1. Everyone, except the monsters, is likable in this episode.
  2. Crocker mistakenly uses a coffee cup as a phone to spread on his nick is hilarious.

Trivia

  • This is the last episode where Crocker shouts his catchphrase "FAIRY GODPARENTS!".
  • This was meant to serve the entire episode as a big Fourth Wall break, but it turns out it was Mr. Crocker's website to talk to the viewers.
