Dhar Mann’s CHRISTMAS FEATURE FILM! is a film produced and released by Dhar Mann Studios theatrically during the Dhar Mann's Unforgettable Christmas event on December 18, 2022 and later released on YouTube a week later on December 25, 2022. It is Dhar Mann's second feature film.

So You See... This Is Why It Deserves Coal

  1. Unlike his previous film, this movie is composed of 4 episodes instead of a normal movie plot, making it very messy and it jumps to different plots. At least his Thanksgiving film, was more consistent.
    • It's not helping the fact, that these 4 episodes were released days before the movie came out and being combined together to make this. Meaning this movie was basically pointless to exist.
  2. As stated in SYS...TIWIDC#1 the plot is messy due to the film using footage from 4 random episodes instead of original footage.
    • And also this is rather hypocritical of Dhar, because some of videos say "not to cut corners" yet he did cut corners here with a "movie" that is literally a clip show.
  3. Also as stated in SYS...TIWIDC#1, this isn't even considered an actual film as it is missing the opening logos and end credits like usual films would.
  4. Like his previous film, the title of this movie is also absolutely terrible and unappealing as well.
  5. Poor Marketing: The film didn't get as much promotion like his previous film, and no trailer of the film was uploaded at all. Resulting in it getting way less views.
  6. Like his previous film, it is very boring and filled with filler to make the movie longer.
    • Otherwise, it could be that the 4 episode were a longer duration than Dhar Mann's older videos, making the movie longer in itself.
  7. The acting, while slightly improved, is still a bit laughable as many actors either don't sound emotive or continue to yell most of their lines.
  8. Lots of editing errors due to being rushed. Such as the scene where Santa's workshop is on fire in the first episode, which looked cheap.
  9. Additionally, none of the actors were credited in the description making it harder to get a proper casting list.
  10. Unlike his previous film which was digital only, this somehow got a theatrical release in which fans bought tickets for. Which is a ripoff and a scam, considering that this movie isn't even an actual film at all.
  11. Like his Thanksgiving Film, it was rushed to be released during Christmas, resulting in a bunch of these issues occurring.

Redeeming Qualities That Deserve Presents

  1. The film thankfully did not have the subtitles built into the video, like the previous film. Which was needed for some native English speakers, considering the subtitles would be better off be done with YouTube's CC function.
  2. There is some action scenes in certain episodes, which were decent.
  3. Some of the acting is still passable/decent for some parts.
  4. Dhar Mann making his Christmas Movie sounded pretty neat, just poor execution.

Reception

Unlike his previous film which was received positively by his fans, it was received negatively by his fans for reusing 4 of his previous episodes (which were uploaded before the movie came out) and making a "feature film" out of it, and being just a lazy cash grab. Additionally the film failed to gather enough views like his previous film as it currently sits at 4 million views, while his previous film got around 18+ million views.
