Dosey Doe is the thirteenth episode of season one and the thirteenth episode of Camp Lazlo.

Sypnosis

In an attempt to get Jane Doe's attention, Scoutmaster Lumpus allows Camp Kidney to host a dance, a Shindig Hootananny Hullabaloo, to which the Squirrel Scouts are invited.

Why It Sucks

1. The Squirrel Scouts (with an exception of Ms Doe) are at their absolute worst on this episode and are completely unlikable since they are rude to the Bean Scouts during the dance.
2. Some mean-spirited jokes such as Edward warning that he and the other Bean Scouts will attack Lazlo if his plan doesn’t work.
3. Raj and Clam get tortured through out this episode by the Squirrel Scouts while Lazlo remains oblivious to their abuse.
4. Ms Doe was oblivious to the Squirrel Scouts beating up the Bean Scouts and doesn’t do anything to stop them.
5. Patsy was completely out-of-character on this episode, she is usually portrayed as a mongoose girl with a tomboyish personality and has a secret crush on Lazlo, but here, she's just an obnoxious brat who doesn’t seem to care about Lazlo.
6. Just like the first season of this show, this episode has several animation errors like when Lazlo announces the dance, Amber's (the rabbit squirrel scout) clothes changes color to the Bean Scout's clothes.
7. During the scene where the Squirrel Scouts attack the Bean Scouts, cheery music is heard in the background to indicate that it's a funny scene, but instead it's very cruel and unfunny.
8. The Squirrel Scouts don't even get punished at the end for their actions towards the Bean Scouts and didn’t even apologize to them.
9. Terrible ending, Patsy punches Lazlo and says that it was the worst “Shindootenannebaloo” she’s ever been to.

Redeeming Qualities

1. This episode does an okay job at showing Ms Doe and Lumpus's relationship with each other.
2. Some funny moments here and there.
3. At least the Squirrel Scouts stopped being rude at the end after seeing fireworks coming out from Lumpus (with an exception of Patsy).
4. Raj, Clam, Lumpus (except in the beginning), Slinkman, and Ms Doe (depending on how you view her) are still likable on this episode.
